Ourense stands out for its innumerable rivers, mountains and valleys. It is one of the most streams of Spain, what this province makes a perfect place to make Mountain Bike routes. In addition, there are specific MTB routes centers, such as
BTT Ribeira Sacra Center, that promote the most interesting natural places and peoples in the province, through tours marked for all types of
Bikers.
In Ourense you can visit the cannons of the Miño and Sil River, the towns of Ribadavia, Castrelo de Miño or Ginzo de Limia, in addition to visiting the provincial capital, famous for its natural and artificial hot springs on the banks of the Miño River.
Route through the Ribeira Sacra
The Ribeira Sacra is one of the greatest attractions in the province of Ourense and it is almost obliged to visit it by mountain. It is formed by the banks of the Miño, Sil and, with their spectacular cannons rivers as the greatest attraction in the area.
This route stops in some of the viewpoints of the area, with spectacular views of the Sil River cannons and villages such as Luintra, Cerreda or the Monastery of San Esteban de Ribas de Sil, of S. X and converted in the Tourism Parador of the Ribeira Sacra. The route is complicated by its great slope, which reaches 1,682 meters and is part of the Ribeira Sacra BTT River Route program.

Ribadavia Route
This tour is part of the BTT Ribadavia march, which travels the Ribeiro region, characterized by its deep valleys around the Miño, Avia or Arnoia river. A path of trails between forests and hard repeches that date back to the Miño River Valley again and again. The second part of the route runs around the Miño Castrelo reservoir, famous for its water sports activity.
Manzaneda Route
A high -mountain MTB route through the Orensano central massif, specifically the mountains of Manzaneda with peaks that exceed 1,700 meters of altitude. In them is the Manzaneda headliner. This route also travels the lower part of the mountains with a continuous and low layout that accumulates more than 1,100 meters of unevenness in 40 kilometers. A unique opportunity to know one of the most attractive high mountain corners in Galicia.
