Guarantee conditions (standard and extended)
All bicycles are completely reviewed from our facilities. During this review process we replace all the pieces with wear provided that the bicycle needs it. Additionally, we make a full grease and adjustment before putting it on sale so that our customers can enjoy the product in the best conditions.
Tuvalum offers all its customers a guarantee according to the legality in force in the terms established for second -hand products, during the period of 1 year from the delivery of the bicycle, and a guarantee according to the legality in force in the terms established for products New, during the 3 -year period from the delivery of the bicycle. Components of the nature of suspension forks, shock absorbers and telescopic scams have a reduced 6 -month guarantee subject to the need to do the periodic maintenance required by the manufacturer within that period. The guarantee will not be valid if the failures or damage to the bicycle are due to an incorrect use of the product, blows or falls, or to the lack of maintenance of the same. The guarantee is non -transferable and will only cover the product buyer in Tuvalum. The guarantee will consist of the repair without any charge of any fault, defect or defective component, as long as these defects do not come from the aforementioned circumstances. The material to be replaced as part of the warranty will be changed to an equal or the same range in another manufacturer whenever possible. Tuvalum Sports S.L is accepted to the right to set up a lower range material when it is discontinued, there is no stock or exhausted in the usual distributors. The defects or brands of paints will not be covered within the guarantee as well as the replacement of the wear elements such as pills, tires, chains, plates, pine nuts, radios, wheel centers and bearings, among others.
Tuvalum Sports S.L will not pay any guarantee of a reparation processed outside its facilities, as long as it has not been previously approved by the company. Similarly, if a bicycle has been disassembled or manipulated by an external workshop prior to the review by Tuvalum Sports S.L (or the workshop associated with the previous and pertinent approval of Tuvalum), the company will not take over the Guarantee to the impossibility of validating if the incidence could be the result of said process.
Tuvalum Sports S.L will give the client the client to hire an extension of the guarantee for an additional 1 year period. In the case of electric bicycles, this extension will be limited to the realization of 4,000 kilometers from the delivery of the bicycle, in relation to the engine and the battery. That is, the extension of the guarantee will fully apply to the rest of the components in the terms specified above.
All actions related to the guarantee will be managed through the commercial department or customer service, who will inform our clients in detail to proceed for the management of the same.
Tuvalum Sports S.L is committed, in any case, to look for the best solution for all its customers, even if the product is outside the guarantee period.
