A mountain bike, a backpack and more than 4,000 kilometers ahead to pedal from Turin to the Sahara. That was the adventure that Gabriele Saluci, a student of sociology and anthropology who in the summer of 2012 parked the books to carry out the challenge of joining the city of Turin with the Sahara desert pedaling with his Mountain Bike.

Saluci went through four countries -France, Spain and Morocco -and lived a series of anecdotes that he recorded with his video camera. On the back of his trip he made a 40 -minute documentary that collects how the adventure was pedaling for more than 4,000 kilometers on a mountain bike from the Italian Piedmont to the Western Sahara. The video counts from the preparations by selecting which clothes and materials throw in the backpack to the adventures that he lived during the trip.

The Turin-Sahara was not the first great long distance adventure that Gabriele Saluci made in Mountain Bike. A year earlier, Turin was launched with Iceland with pedal, passing through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
