The Picos de Europa, the Mining Basin, the natural reserves of Ubiñas and Somiedo, where the brown bear still lives, in addition to the cities of Oviedo and Gijón and the beauty of its coast and fishing villages. All this and more you can travel by mountain bike, in addition to enjoying incredible high mountain landscapes and alternating with lower uneven routes near the coast but of equal beauty.
Green Bear Way
A long but simple route with departure and arrival in the small village of Tuñón, a few 25 km southwest of Oviedo. The Trubia River Valley is traveled, through the green road of the Bear's path, leaving aside the famous gorge of the Xanas and directing us in a slight climb to the town of Caranga de Abajo, already in the middle of the Cantabrian mountain range, in the foothills of the Las Ubiñas Natural Park.
In Tuñón there is the
BTT Center of the Bear Path, where it is possible to rent a mountain bicycle to make the route, in addition to giving indications about the route or providing the GPS track to guide you with it using the mobile phone. A route to make a whole morning and delight with the green landscapes of the interior of Asturias, without great physical wear.

Route Btt Cangas de Onís
Cangas de Onís is for many the heart of Asturias. You cannot leave Asturias without visiting this beautiful town that in the Medievo was the capital of the homonymous kingdom. We propose a circular route that runs northwest of the population, where you can also visit Villanueva or Arriondas, where the famous descent of the Sella River begins.
Past Arriondas we will have to face the climb to the Moru peak. An ascension composed of concrete track in its beginnings to end quite stony ground, although without great technical difficulty. The alternate route stretches of path, forest track and road, although there will be many kilometers of the latter and there will only be link sections.
Luarca - Las Brañas
The Asturian western coast stands out for its green landscapes, cliffs and beaches of great beauty. From Luarca we make a demanding MTB route that is part of the test
BTT LAS BRAÑAS AND MAR DE LUARCA, with five chained increases. To do this, we must enter the southeast direction after crossing the A-8 and reaching walls, and then returning from the mountain to the coast through Canéu, the beach of Tourán and the beaches of Salinas and Luarca, already on the coast .
A route that combines the typical landscape of the Asturian coast with the mountain of the interior. The layout runs mostly by forest clues not very technical, although it is a continuum rises and lowers with strong ramps in some sections of the route.
Natural Network Park
The Natural Network Park is located to the south of the region, between the councils or municipalities of the case and overwhelming. Perhaps their mountains are not as high or spectacular as those of the Picos de Europa, but they enclose beech and oak forests that are a real natural treasure.
