Zaragoza is the fourth largest province in Spain, with more 17,000 square kilometers of surface. Enough land to house very special Mountain Bike routes and of various types.
The Ebro Valley cuts the province with more broken land and reliefs in the north, towards the region of the five villas, already near the Pyrenees, and South in the rugged environment of Calratayud limestone rocks.
We propose routes in all enclaves, very accessible and well communicated from any point in Aragon or large nearby cities such as Madrid, Barcelona or Logroño. The technical difficulty of all of them is easy to moderate and recommended to do especially in autumn or spring.
Spanish Utah Route
The surroundings of Calatayud, south of the province of Zaragoza, offers very appetizing routes to perform by mountain bike, due to its shocking rock formations and plateaus of the Sierra de Armantos. Is also known as

An essential route if you like to roll surrounded by rugged landscapes with your bicycle, or want to get the best photos of your trip. Recommended for all types of modalities, although a certain technical level is necessary to manage some of the descents, very stony and with stretches of strong slope.

Mequinenza Reservoir Route
In Mequinenza, at the east end of the province of Zaragoza, is the so -called Aragon Sea, the Mequinenza reservoir. It is one of the largest reservoirs in Spain, which contains the waters of the highest flow river confluence in the whole country, the union of the Cinca rivers and segre with the Ebro.
This route marked at the initiative of the Lower Cinca region runs through the broken terrain around the reservoir. The swamp dam, the upper part of the Sierra de Mequinenza and the Ribarroja swamp is visited. The route has constant pending increases by fundamentally dry terrain. SOS Route of the Catholic King

A simple tour, with the only difficulty of the climb to the roita, with a loose and stony land track.
