Volta to the province of Valencia is a race in stages of elite category and sub-23 that is part of the calendar amateur and semi -professional from our country.
In its seventh edition it has had more than 170 runners from both national and international teams. Among them were clubs in France, Portugal, Russia and Japan. This last country competed with its Sub-23 team.
The final triumph has been for Erlend Sor, Norwegian corridor based in Alicante of the notary Team. Sr. is one of the strongest sub-23 promises. This year he has chained several victories, including Tenerife and this seventh edition of La Volta to València.
Sor imposed in the general with the same time as Aleksandr Grigorev, from Mutua de Levante. Until the last curve of the last stage, held last Sunday in Moncada's muncipio, Grigorev commanded the general. However, an unfortunate fall at a few 200 meters from the final goal made him lose the yellow jersey.
Previously Sor had suffered a puncture on his rear wheel just a few kilometers before the end of the last stage.
Sor and Grigorev finished the round with the same time and separated only by a dozen stalls at the entrance to the sprint of the platoon. In this way the Norwegian took the final victory.
The third drawer of the podium was for the Spanish Sergio Samitier, of Mutua Levante-Ginestar, who ended the return to 7 seconds of the winner.
