WRC stands for World Race Conor, the high-performance division of the Spanish manufacturer Conor. The story begins with Ignacio Orbaiceta, a former professional cyclist known in his day as one of Spain’s most explosive sprinters. Retiring at the young age of 26, Ignacio turned his lifelong passion into a business, founding a bicycle distribution and manufacturing company in Egüés, Navarra, together with his brother Javier Orbaiceta.

In 1990, the Conor brand was born, becoming a true reflection of the family’s deep connection to the sport. Over time, WRC emerged as the competition-focused line within the brand, bringing together craftsmanship, technology, and performance.
