About Cube
From the very beginning, Cube Bikes has stood out for the quality of the materials used, as well as for the careful manufacturing processes that follow the 'made in Germany' standards.
Cube Bikes is a brand that has managed to put a very wide range of solutions for all types of cyclists on the market in a short time. From the most experienced to the beginner. For touring cyclists looking for comfort on long days and for those who need faster and more agile bikes. For bikers who push every trail in MTB competitions, as well as for those who prefer to ride on unpaved trails and enjoy the scenery.
Cube Bikes has an extensive catalogue of road and, above all, mountain bike models, always maintaining a good quality-price ratio.
One of the main assets that Cube worked on when it started to manufacture bicycles was to put in value a system of guarantees. In this sense, from the very beginning, the brand stood out for the quality of the materials used, as well as for the very careful manufacturing processes that follow the Made in Germany standards.
One of the first signs of identity of Cube bicycles is its commitment to colours, always very bold, seeking contrasts to capture the user's attention. The risk they take in the colour of their bicycles does not leave cycling enthusiasts indifferent, provoking a division of opinion. It has both fans of its colourful lines and detractors due to the extravagance of certain designs.
Colours aside, Cube is known for making slim bikes with sleek, clean lines, a very neat aesthetic and a strong focus on women's and children's product ranges, as well as offering a range of high quality accessories.
Cube Bikes is particularly competent in mountain bikes, with frames that come in a wide variety of sizes so that each model can be adapted to different wheel sizes. Their MTB machines offer rigid and full suspension models, although hybrids have gained prominence, perfect for completing easy trail rides with the aim to enjoy the bike without pressure.
Cube Bikes also has a range of trekking bikes, which allow you to alternate between different surfaces.
Cube's main focus is on mountain biking. However, this has not led it to neglect the road or the triathlon segment. In both areas, the German brand has models designed to meet different needs, from those who are just starting out in the sport of cycling to professionals who need cutting-edge machines.
The origins of Cube Bikes are interesting and date back to 1993, when Marcus Pürner set up a 50 square metre space in his father's furniture factory in Waldershof, a small town near the border of the Czech Republic. From that little corner a brand was born that today has a factory of 20,000 square metres and sells its bicycles in more than sixty countries.
As a result of this expansion, Cube is present at major cycling events and sponsors many cycling competitions. The Cube Action Team is the test bench for enduro machines, while the Cube Global Squad competes in the biggest downhill events.
In the international peloton, Cube Bikes equips Wanty-Groupe Gobert, one of the most beloved teams in the Belgian peloton, which is present in the best races in the world, including the Tour de France. Among its most notable successes was the Amstel Gold Race won by Italian Enrico Gasparotto in 2016.
In triathlon, Cube Bikes has sponsored and continues to sponsor world champions such as Michael Raelert, and his older brother Andreas, Ironman world record holder, along with Olympian Svenja Bazlen and Celine Schärer.
