Zamora is structured by the lands of the Duero valley in the center and south of its territory, and by a more mountainous area in the northwest, specifically in the Sanabria region. This contrast of landscapes makes the province an ideal destination for cycling enthusiasts, both for mountain bikes and road bikes.

In all these areas it is possible to practice mountain biking throughout the year, thanks to perfectly prepared and signposted routes, such as the many trails around the provincial capital or the exciting mountain bike routes through the Sanabria region, where the famous glacial lake is located, the largest in all of Spain. These routes are ideal for those who enjoy MTB in the heart of nature, among technical trails, lush forests, and unique landscapes.
But Zamora also offers alternatives for those who prefer to pedal on asphalt. Road bike enthusiasts will find scenic routes connecting charming villages, such as the trails that pass through the vineyards of the Duero valley or those that approach natural sites of great value like the Arribes del Duero. Near the border with Portugal, these places offer spectacular views of gorges and canyons formed by the riverbed, visible from numerous viewpoints.
