Urdaibai Route
On the Cantabrian coast, we do this accessible mountain bike route with beautiful landscapes along the left bank of the Urdaibai estuary. The route begins heading towards Bermeo and then turns south towards Sollube. There will be 18 tough kilometers of climbs, until after Sollube you begin to descend to connect with the carrera BI-3213 and do a stretch of asphalt to Errigoiti. Once past this small village, we turn north again looking for the river when we leave Guernica to the right. It is a beautiful route with little technical difficulty.

Urkiola Natural Park Route
To talk about Urkiola is to talk about the heart of the Basque Country. These are mountains located in the southeastern tip of the province of Vizcaya, where cycling is also in the air thanks to the many years that the Urkiola road climb race was held, won by some of the best cyclists in the world. However, the event has not been held since 2009. By MTB, you can still ride through this protected area of the Basque mountains, starting and finishing in the town of Mañaria. We skirt the ridges of the massif, leaving on our right some incredible views of the deciduous forests, which display a variety of leaf colors in autumn. This is a route with significant elevation gain but without notable technical difficulties, designed mainly to be enjoyed with friends.
