Ruta Sendero de las 1000 curvas
This is the name of the famous trail that climbs towards Sierra Espuña, in Alhama de Murcia. A massif located in the center of the autonomous community, famous for its lush pine and oak forests that arose after the reforestation undertaken by the famous forestry engineer Ricardo Codorníu in the 19th century. Most of the route consists of fun singletracks , both uphill and downhill, passing through the pine and oak forests of this area protected by the Region of Murcia. At the end of the route, the biker can also see the Espuña canal, an old water channel that is still active and brings water from the mountains to the nearby orchards.

Ruta de las Encinas Monumentales
In the northwest of the Region of Murcia, 75 kilometers from the capital, is Caravaca de la Cruz, a town famous for the holy site of the Basilica de la Vera Cruz which, according to tradition, holds a relic of the cross on which Jesus Christ was crucified. In addition to its religious-tourist appeal, Caravaca offers a unique environment for mountain biking. It is surrounded by hills and mountains with numerous tracks and trails. On this route, we discover the area closest to the town, which by area (858 square kilometers) is one of the 20 largest in all of Spain, and we visit the Fuentes del Marqués.
