UIXAN MINAS ROUTE

This Mountain Bike route starts from Melilla by bordering the Chica Sea to the Uixan Mines, an old Spanish mining enclave after the town of Nador. It is a long route, but not excessively complicated of reality. The first part of the path, to Nador, is completely plain rolling parallel to the Chica Sea (also called Nador Lagura), an alfubera of great biological importance. The toughest part of this route is between kilometers 40 and 50, when the gurugú rises through the southern face. Once this mountain is crowned, the return to Melilla is always downhill.

African route

The African is a 75 -kilometer BTT test organized by the Legion de Melilla. This route is part of the tour of this test in its 2018 edition. Tazuda Castillo Route
