Why Choose a Olympia Bike?
Olympia bikes, known for their quality and durability, offer a combination of innovation and tradition that few other brands can match. The Italian manufacturer, with over a century of activity, is renowned for producing bikes that have won numerous design awards (Expobici Innovation Award 2013 and 2014 and multiple mentions in the ADI Design Index). The brand is appreciated for its high-tech frames and innovative solutions, making Olympia bikes an excellent choice for any cycling enthusiast.
Olympia Bicycles, Living History of Cycling
Olympia was born in 1893 in the Italian city of Milan, near Porta Romana, founded by Carlo Borghi. Initially, Olympia focused not only on bicycles but also on mopeds, but over time, Borghi channeled all his energy and enthusiasm into the world of cycling. The Olympia jersey was worn on the podium of the Giro d'Italia in 1940 by Enrico Mollo, and at the first place of the Milan-Turin race in 1941 by Pietro Chiappini. In the 1960s, the management of the brand was entrusted to the Fontana family, who relocated production to the Veneto region.
Over the years, Olympia has evolved, with a modern production site covering 4,400 square meters in Piove di Sacco (Padua), but Borghi's essence and legacy remain: passion, presence in competition (especially in MTB, with the famous Marzio Deho and his team), technology, and attention to detail. Olympia has become a global company, recognized for the design and quality of its bikes.

What are the advantages of buying a refurbished Olympia bike?
Acquiring a refurbished bike offers three main advantages:
The first advantage is economic. By choosing to buy a used refurbished bike from Tuvalum, you can save between 20% and 60% compared to the price of a new bike.
The second advantage is mechanical revision. While it is possible to buy a used Olympia bike from an individual, most platforms and second-hand product applications do not guarantee the condition of the items sold. You would have to trust a stranger and risk purchasing a bike with hidden damage. At Tuvalum, all bikes are meticulously checked and refurbished by our team of mechanics, ensuring that each bike meets the same technical standards and approvals required by the European Union for new bikes. Additionally, they come with a one-year mechanical warranty and an 18-month buyback guarantee.
Another good reason to buy a refurbished Olympia bike is its positive impact on sustainable development. By opting for a bike that has already been manufactured, you contribute to reducing the carbon footprint generated by the purchase of a new bike. Did you know that a new bike produces a carbon footprint of 300 kilograms of CO2 during its manufacturing process?
