Why choose a WRC bike?
WRC bikes are designed and produced with a focus on durability, comfort, and performance. This Spanish brand is known for its craftsmanship and offers a wide range of bikes to meet the needs of cyclists who want to enjoy a quality bike at an affordable price.
The origins of WRC
The acronym WRC stands for World Race Conor, referring to Conor's range of racing bikes.
The company was originally founded by Ignacio Orbaiceta. In his youth, he distinguished himself as one of the top sprinters of his time. At the age of 26, Ignacio retired from professional cycling, but his passion for bikes led him and his brother to create a distribution and bike manufacturing company in Egüés, Navarre. It was his brother, Javier Orbaiceta, who launched the Conor brand in 1990, reflecting the cycling spirit of the family.
Since then, CONOR/WRC has maintained a spirit of perseverance and hard work that continues to thrive in the Navarrese valley of Egüés, where the company continues to produce exceptional handcrafted bikes.
The main models of WRC bikes
Looking for a competitively priced road bike? We recommend the WRC SPIRIT, appreciated for its responsiveness, maneuverability, and competitive price-quality ratio.
Prefer a full-suspension cross-country mountain bike? Choose the WRC Carb. STORM or, for superior performance, the WRC THUNDER.
Are you among those who still enjoy riding a hardtail mountain bike? In that case, we recommend the WRC 29SPECIAL.
Finally, for those who prefer gravel riding, WRC offers the Kalima.
The benefits of buying a refurbished WRC bike
Acquiring a refurbished bike offers three main advantages:
The first is economic. By opting to buy a refurbished used WRC bike from Tuvalum, you can save anywhere from 20% to 60% compared to the price of a new bike.
The second is mechanical revision. While it's possible to buy a used WRC bike from an individual, most platforms and second-hand marketplaces do not guarantee the condition of the items sold. You would have to trust an unknown seller and run the risk of buying a bike with hidden damages. At Tuvalum, all bikes are meticulously checked and refurbished by our team of mechanics who ensure that each bike meets the same technical standards and approvals required by the European Union for new bikes. Additionally, they come with a one-year mechanical warranty and an 18-month buyback guarantee.
Another great reason to buy a refurbished WRC bike is its positive impact on sustainable development. By opting for a bike that has already been manufactured, you contribute to reducing the carbon footprint associated with buying a new bike. Did you know that a new bike produces a carbon footprint of 300 kilograms of CO2 during its manufacturing process?
