Their bikes are characterized by quality and durability. The performance-oriented and comfortable design ensures ideal ergonomics for long hours on the road, making Vitoria bikes an exceptional choice for cycling enthusiasts.
Vitoria: A Pioneer in Spanish Cycling
The history of Vitoria dates back to the 1970s when its founder, Juan Vitoria, began his career in cycling and steadily climbed the professional ranks until 1980.
His passion for cycling extended beyond racing, leading him to explore other opportunities in the field. While living in Locarno, a small town in Switzerland, he had the chance to work with Sergio Golmeski, a frame manufacturer, who taught him the art and technique of bike manufacturing.
In 1983, with the intention of returning to Spain, Juan purchased all the necessary equipment for bike frame production from the same Italian company that had supplied equipment to Eddy Merckx a few years earlier.
Juan became renowned for his steel frames, a notable feat at a time when few companies in Spain specialized in this area. To optimize quality, control, and production of his frames, Juan decided to structure his business. This led to the birth of the Ciclos Vitoria brand in 1988, under which Juan would manufacture his own frames.
Since then, the company has witnessed and actively participated in the most significant evolution of bicycles since their invention, from steel to aluminum and finally carbon fiber.
In 2014, the founder's twin daughters, Esmeralda and Diana Vitoria, joined the company. Their involvement brought about significant changes, including a refreshed image and a focus on innovation and customer experience.

What are the advantages of buying a refurbished Vitoria bike?
Acquiring a refurbished bike offers three main advantages:
The first advantage is economic. By choosing to buy a refurbished used bike from Tuvalum, you can save between 20% and 60% compared to the price of a new bike.
The second advantage is mechanical revision. While it is possible to buy a used Vitoria bike from an individual, most platforms and second-hand product applications do not guarantee the condition of the items sold. You would have to trust a stranger and risk purchasing a bike with hidden damages. At Tuvalum, all bikes are meticulously checked and refurbished by our team of mechanics who ensure that each bike meets the same technical standards and approvals required by the European Union for new bikes. Additionally, they come with a one-year mechanical warranty and an 18-month buyback guarantee.
Another good reason to buy a refurbished Vitoria bike is its positive impact on sustainable development. By opting for a bike that has already been manufactured, you contribute to reducing the ecological footprint generated by the purchase of a new bike. Did you know that a new bike produces a carbon footprint of 300 kilograms of CO2 during its manufacturing process?
