About Kross
Why choose a Kross bike?
For over three decades, Kross has been committed to offering the best bikes designed for both professional cyclists and those who enjoy leisurely rides and want to feel satisfied with every kilometer traveled. Kross stands out from other European manufacturers by having an in-house bike creation process without the involvement of external companies. The company prepares the designs, prototypes, and ultimately constructs the bikes in its own production workshop. Since 2000, the company has also taken care of the entire bike assembly and storage process. This allows Kross to avoid importing ready-to-use frames from subcontractors and maintain complete control over the quality of all bikes. As a result, they design each bike with great care and are known for their meticulous attention to detail and trendsetting that cyclists love. While Kross is most renowned in its home country of Poland, its bikes have already conquered over 50 countries worldwide.
The Origins of Kross
The company was founded in 1990 by Zbigniew Sosnowski, who opened a bicycle shop in Przasnysz, Poland. The success of his business quickly led him to transform the shop into a warehouse to meet the growing demand. In 1995, Zbigniew Sosnowski acquired equipment from a bankrupt bicycle factory in Cuneo, Italy, and transferred it to Przasnysz. This marked the beginning of bike production under the company's own brand.
Over time, the company grew into a significant bike manufacturer, initially selling bikes under the Grand brand and then, starting from 2003, under the Kross brand.
Since 2006, Kross has also owned the Kross Racing Team, a UCI-affiliated MTB team, with riders such as Maja Włoszczowska, Bartłomiej Wawak, and Fabian Giger. The professional cyclists who compete with Kross actively contribute to the creation of new frames. As a result, their MTB bikes are designed to compete on the most challenging XC World Championship courses.
Since 2017, Kross has had its own carbon frame production line, placing the company in a select group of European bike manufacturers that create their carbon fiber frames on the continent without relying on Asian suppliers.

What are the advantages of buying a refurbished Kross bike?
Acquiring a refurbished bike offers three main advantages:
The first is economic. By opting to buy a refurbished used bike from Tuvalum, you can save between 20% to 60% compared to the price of a new bike.
The second advantage is mechanical revision. While it's possible to buy a used Kross bike from an individual, most second-hand platforms and applications don't guarantee the condition of the items sold. You have to trust a stranger and risk purchasing a bike with hidden damages. At Tuvalum, all bikes are meticulously checked and refurbished by our team of mechanics, ensuring that each bike meets the same technical standards and approvals required by the European Union for new bikes. Additionally, they come with a one-year mechanical warranty and an 18-month buyback guarantee.
Another compelling reason to buy a refurbished Kross bike is its positive impact on sustainable development. By opting for a pre-owned bike, you contribute to reducing the ecological footprint generated by the purchase of a new bike. Did you know that a new bike produces a carbon footprint of 300 kilograms of CO2 during its manufacturing process?
